accidentally saw a wedding on what I was youtubing. "Till we are parted by death"  It's been nearly 6 years.  bawling. (and it stings cos my skin is dry from winter)  Thanks for listening, it helps.

I know you are, thanks.  Mostly, just saying/writing it helps.  and having a forum where I can do that.  IRL people can be too......   .......much :D

Everyone is an individual, but in general from what I've experienced and others have shared, you will never get over it. However in time(huge variable) thinking of the loss will become more melancholy sadness and less terrifying pain.
But your mileage may vary.
Since we don't know what happens after death, they could be watching us, we might be entertainment on afterlife cable. 
So I figure what the hell, talk to them... can't hurt... might help.
