Fighting WWII was like a church supper, everybody pitches in.
Since there wasn't a lot of airplane factory facilities before the war we had to work together.
Little kids collecting scrap metal to Marilyn Monroe working in a factory.

We built a lot of planes...

When I was young, talking to any one in town or the area for that matter, if you said somebody worked at Pratt or Hamilton the listener immediately knew what you were talking about. Milton Bradley was another one.

25 years at Boeing Helicopter exposed me to a million pictures of the products.
This is hands down my favorite...

I think that barge was going to be part of one of the DEW Line stations.
