Wouldn't it be more appropriate if LIX was 69 not 59?

Two clicks on my mouse for the answer on that no-longer new search feature.
Anyone see the very funny movie "The Fortune?"

I was gonna say it;'s shaped like a panty liner, but.. the buttons suggest it rolls up and fastens to the other side.

I and at least two of my siblings were raised with reusable diapers.  I think my parents mostly gave up and went to disposable for #4.

#5, and #6 both got disposable diapers. But I well remember two loads of diapers a day, washed in Ivory Snow. The only soap my Mother would use on diapers.

A former Dwellar Overlord got really  REALLY pissed with me when I said something like I would be quite OK with it and not mourn if a certain prominent covid-poo-pooing figure contracted it and died.  Wonder how they feel about that person not giving a fuck about the recent Hollywood double-murder?  Because they didn't like them?  On social media they posted the victim died:   “reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as _[ME] DERANGEMENT SYNDROME.”

I'm sure you're all glad I am not and can't ever be in the position of this quoted source, but if I was, no matter how much I despised the victim, I would know it was my job to offer consolation.  And do it.

Beyond despicable

This Christmas season is almost as bad as Christmas 2020, to me. I keep trying to think more than 10 minutes into the future, and I just can't. All the future things feel simultaneously overwhelming and not real.

Eleven more days of Christmas songs.  And then we are done.

Donated our car to NPR yesterday.  It would have turned 30 on Saturday.  That's when we picked it up from the dealership after we ordered it from the factory.

You can make a bid for it if you want.  Learn to drive a stick.

We needed the room in the driveway and weren't driving it these days.

Since 1974, I can and only drive 5 speeds or higher.

Coincidentally, that's the second super-old-used-car auction I've looked at in recent days. Jello Biafra, lead singer of the punk band Dead Kennedys, is selling his car and getting some publicity for it--and Minifobette is a big fan so I ended up hearing about it.

Anyone got a bootleg copy of Melania (the movie)?

Why would anyone go through the trouble of bootlegging a movie they are paying people to see?  (I saw a social media post of a guy who got paid something like $50 to fill a seat in a theater in NYC, He came out after it was over and asked if he could do it again.  They said yes. He watched 3-4 times in one day and made something like $200 for playing on his phone during the movie.)  He said the movie was about as good as you would expect.
