I finally found a video on setting up Microsoft Authenticator. Much easier than I thought, it just generates a code # with your phone that you enter in the login to AWS,

I have been using Ama**n Web Services for video storage. Now, I can't login until I choose and set up one of 3 authenticators "for my security", but I can't find help in the support area as to how to do that. Just let me keep using my password, none of this requires high level security Grrrrr.

Sheet film is used in large format cameras (think the ones where the photographer is under a cloth focusing). The cameras I use take 4"x5", 5"x7" or 8"x10" sheets of film, as opposed to 36 images on a roll of 35mm. Most of my personal work is large format black and white. I then scan the processed negatives and output to a fine art paper.

I prefer film for my personal work, but the Great Yellow Father is pricing me out. I really like Tr-X 320 for my 8x10 work, but it is now $18.00 per sheet of film, versus Ilford FP4 (also a great film) at $8.00 per sheet.

It's a shame you've never had any experience with ladders.
Or walking off the porch apparently. That's how I broke the other side 5 years ago. (Is there a theme here?)

Thanks. In the grand scheme of things, it's minor. It will heal and I'll be back to my grumpy self soon.

Technology & The Internet » Oh, how I hate Windows 10 » 12/08/2021 8:27 am |
I mentioned to my studio IT guy that I was going to have to upgrade my main work computer (PC) from Win 8.1 at some point. He immediately begged me NOT to go to Win 11, as he had been trying to get customers' computers working with the new OS and having to return them and get Win 10 machines. (Full disclosure), I still use Win 7 on 2 computers and 8.1 on the main one. Win 7 because I don't want to re-buy software that I only use occasionally.

Excellent, even though they don't appreciate what you did for them you're a good Do-Bee.
Watch out for those lady bee drivers...
Jim, why don't you just use Chrome browser and save all the bullshit?
This usually happens when they are coming back in loaded with nectar or pollen.Kind of like the controlled crash landing on an aircraft carrier. Spun out 90 pounds of honey last week, got to pick up bottles and make new labels.

Hi All - Glad to be here. Still too cold to be working bees this weekend. Picking up packages of bees this Friday to kick off the year. The bees gave me about 130 pounds of honey last spring, nothing in the fall (way too dry for any nectar flow other than what they needed for themselves). They get supplemental feedings of sugar syrup to build them up for the winter. Supposed to be warmer from Monday on out, so here's hoping that the cold is mostly behind us. Next is new plastic on the greenhouse and seed starting.

That's impressive. Still at it here, ramping up for another season. Our Beekeeping Association does a similar display at an agricultural fair in August, along with instructional photographs and videos. Had to run our Bee School via Zoom this year (something else to learn). I am also shooting the videos, expanded my gear to a 4 camera switcher, multiview monitor and a new laptop to run all this stuff. Now just have to figure all this tech out.
