    Have you ladies ever dreamed of being a Playboy Bunny, worshiped, envied, living the good life?
    Reality bites, here are pages from the 1969 Bunny Manual that spell it out.
    What you can do, what you can't do, and what you must do at stalag Playboy.
    Reading this I got the feeling that Hef was engineering this so no member would feel some other member has an advantage.
    Nobody would have a better shot than they do, which is ridiculous. Management's friends always do.


    The print is really small and unclear like a cheap typewriter so I embiggened it.

    What the fuck was it doing on an F-4?
    I know it was on the Big Bunny DC-9 that had to get all kinds of dispensations to be painted black.
    But that's like putting Ronald McDonald, or Starbucks mermaid on a Navy plane.

    If you're going to miss part or all of a shift you have to find another bunny (must be certified for that area) to cover for you. Then you both have to call the Bunny Mother and report it to her.


    You have to do a photo shoot with the club Photographer. Separate from normal work hours so you'll be paid $1.25 and hour for that time.


    No eating, drinking or gum chewing where customers can see you. No booze, or dating patrons or fellow serfs.

    I feel like in general, the population is more aware of branding now than we were a few decades ago.  I imagine the bunny on the tail back then was just because the navy guys liked boobies.

    Hey, drift is a treasured tradition, it goes into interesting corners sometimes.
    So Hef got huffy, but somebody slapped him and said don't fuck with the military boys they're great customers.

    The merit/demerit system sounds like a shell game of brownie points...


    They had a lot of carrots on sticks, must of had a psychologist on staff.


    The merits seem to go down in bigger chunks that they go up...

    Does that mean to qualify she must have enough cleavage to hold those three items?


    Appearance is not suggested, it's mandatory.


    All bosses except the Bunny Mother are Mr and to be respected, no whining or eyerolls.


    OK, it sounds like she would have to want this job very badly to stay very long... that's a wrap.
