Learned this factoid from my goddaughter who is in vet school: Female possums have two vaginas. Male possums have forked penises.

I went to the walk-in over the weekend for the walkin pneumonia. (sorry not sorry) I ended up getting x-rays of my lungs. Turns out we have one more lobe on the right side than the left.
*as an aside the NP and x-ray tech were really young and really competent just to counter the kids today narrative.

She’s very proud and happy to be in vet school. She volunteered it in a family group text. She’s one of the more interesting people I know.

Man, I just heard that, like yesterday.

The article I learned it from was on about how it was an anti-christmas song but is now viewed nostalgically as a full-on christmas song. I hear it in just about every store

TIL That I wasn't making it up that morphine makes me really really ill. Whenever I mention it as something I react to in a medical setting they look at me like I'm out to lunch. Currently watching Helicopter medic crap and they asked a patient if they get travel sick before they gave her morphine ....so I googled.... travel sickness and vomiting with morphine are related. I get so travel sick that's why I always drive. Even a couple of miles is lousy as a passenger. I feel vindicated

Tom Petty, who portrayed Lucky Kleinschmidt on television's King of the Hill, teamed up with Roger McGuinn (of the Byrds) to write and perform this song, KING OF THE HILL, on McGuinn's 1990 album.
The TV show, King of the Hill, didn't come out until 1997, and Tom Petty didn't appear until 2004.
In 1987, 17 years before he appeared on King of the Hill, McGuinn and Petty recorded this demo..
Organ, Piano, Synthesizer: Benmont Tench
Bass, Harmony Vocals: Howie Epstein
Drums, Percussion: Stan Lynch
Guitar: Mike Campbell
12 String Guitar, Lead Vocals: Roger McGuinn
Guitar, Lead Vocals, Harmony Vocals: Tom Petty
Writers: Roger McGuinn and Tom Petty

I keep forgetting we don't have Tom Petty any more. It's been 8 years.
This King of the Hill tomfoolery took place around the time of Travelling Wilburys
