Would we put lead in the fuel or would we already know about all the negative outcomes for instance climate change?

Imagine we lived in a world where all cars were EVs, and then along comes a new invention.
While reading this, Jerry Seinfeld is describing comedy.

What Tesla has done well, and the others followed, is make EVs a status symbol with a lot of bullshit promises. Be one of the cool kids, do your homework while the car takes you to school, why wait till lookout point to start necking, why pay a parking attendant just send the car to find a spot and wait for a call to come back. Pie in the sky tales to get the buyers imagination fired up.
Now that bit about a new discovery gas engine is clearly a joke. But if something did come along that was a third the price it would sell like crazy. Half the people don't believe climate change, or it's true but so what, just turn up the A/C or heat. Nobody in their right mind wants to be outside anyway the game console is inside.
See what I mean? How do you reach those people?

I don't know what they're thinking pulling back on the supercharger network...

musk is a rich asshole that wants to prove that he's in charge. I grew up with people like that.

He grew up as a white rich kid during apartheid in South Africa so feels entitled. He's also smart enough to get Billions from the federal government as his only successful businesses are afloat on tax money and money extorted from other car makers by the Federal government.

Now Elon's 7 - 9,000 lb toy is in the wild, the rich kids are having fun...
I've seen pictures of a couple painted or wrapped in dark colors like black and navy.

It's rumored that BP is buying that up...

Since GM, and some others have agreed to use the Tesla system of charging, maybe Tesla is counting on them to build it.

The only reason to pay a fortune for the Cybertruck is to get attention, but as more are sold you have to up the ante. Many of the attention whores have had them painted various colors but some have gone further...

TBH, I like the mirror one. Probably the vehicle best suited for that.

Kind of risky blinding other drivers.

Magicians use mirrors to make things disappear. It's good to be in a vehicle that can bee seen.

Probably less risk of blinding other drivers than a mirror finish on a curvy car, which would be guaranteed to have a spot reflecting directly at you, But if you happened to get it in just the wrong angle, you would get the full sun reflection.
As for being invisible, it would be ironic if it fooled another Tesla's autopilot.

Yes but how many curvy cars do you see polished, not many. I don't know if people are aware of the danger of blinding others, the danger of people staring at you tend to drift toward you, of they get demolished as fast as they appear. LoL

He probably got tired of running it. He had been running the Cellar since something like 1980.
