Dickey showed up unannounced at a dive bar in Scranton my friends and I were hanging out at. He played a set with the band. Peace.

Bill Walton, great all-around guy.
Surprising that most reports simply say cancer, while a few say prostate cancer. With today's arsenal of PC treatments, 71 is too young to die of it.

Well, one prostate cancer blog I follow led me astray. Cancer was colon. Still too early.

Some whacko moderate, using facts with numbers, logically concluded that the only way to keep him from getting elected was to kill him. They're good at talking the talk; but, walking the walk... not so much. Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

Re: RIP, Famous person

Feeling bad for the guy who instigated Jan 6 would be quite an ask but feeling bad for the state of our country's politics is easy enough. We can't descend into one bullet one vote.  Everybody seems to think they're the good guy with the gun but we're all a product of the nonsense we consume for media. The shooter maybe got caught up in the QAnon pedo stuff before realizing Trump and Epstein were so tight.

He was a dumb extremist.  He did not bring his Howitzer.  And left all bombs behind in his car and home.

We know that guns change the mindset of people.  Those with guns must (should) have extensive training.  To remain adult when enticed by the power and increased ego that a gun creates.  He was a registered Republican.  His Republican father bought him the gun.  Since (for some reason) it is good for kids to have assault rifles.  To protect themselves.  To hunt deer.  And to hunt humans.

If he bagged Trump, could he have Trump stuffed and mounted on his wall?

Re: RIP, Famous person

Ridiculous. He was a closet moderate who disavowed the Republican Party when he attacked its party leader. Like any whacko moderate, he couldn't own up to the responsibility of not abusing power entrusted to him. His father, a genuine Republican, didn't go out and shoot anyone. Only his dissembling son did, a whacko moderate in Republican clothing. It's a whacko moderate that deceives their own father like that. Shades of Hunter Biden!

I'll grant you that he was a dumb whacko moderate.
