Bill Walton, great all-around guy.
Surprising that most reports simply say cancer, while a few say prostate cancer. With today's arsenal of PC treatments, 71 is too young to die of it.

Well, one prostate cancer blog I follow led me astray. Cancer was colon. Still too early.

Re: RIP, Famous person

Feeling bad for the guy who instigated Jan 6 would be quite an ask but feeling bad for the state of our country's politics is easy enough. We can't descend into one bullet one vote.  Everybody seems to think they're the good guy with the gun but we're all a product of the nonsense we consume for media. The shooter maybe got caught up in the QAnon pedo stuff before realizing Trump and Epstein were so tight.

If he bagged Trump, could he have Trump stuffed and mounted on his wall?

My wife ran into him on a plane many years ago.  He actually spoke to her.  He said *EXCUSE ME* in the Darth Vader voice.  True story.

Quincy Jones. I actually knew who he was, so there's that.

Also, Peanut The Squirrel No clue who he was, but apparently people and wotsits are fired up about it

Re: RIP, Famous person

Oh, but that story doesn't include the latest twist: After conservatives went all-in on Peanut as a martyr and a "Christ-like sacrifice" and "the Elon Musk of squirrels" (because they saw it as an opportunity to denigrate the Dem establishment running NYC,) they've now discovered that the entire Peanut TikTok account was just a way to direct traffic to the owner's homoerotic OnlyFans page, and now the conservatives' heads are exploding because they championed a gay-agenda squirrel.
