Pap smear in Paris. “Ok y'all, not only in the Village do we have free food, but we have free dental, free healthcare. I literally just got a Pap smear for free, and I have a dentist appointment, and an eye exam next week," Ramsey said. "Like, what?”
Trump has been a convenient way to avoid talking about serious things.

It's dangerous for the commoners to get together and talk about having better living conditions. We were doing it on Twitter, so a billionaire bought it. TikTok isn't vulnerable to the same type of attack, so they have to go this other direction with it. Xenophobia and tech illiteracy.

Pap smear? The Olympic Committee treats the athletes like royalty, provide complete medical facilities because being human they may get sick.
Plus athletes doing extraordinary feats sometimes get hurt.
But it sounds like some are taking advantage of the Committee's hospitality even beyond grabbing the 300,000 free condoms.

A pap smear, which detects cervical cancer, is basic healthcare which you can get at Planned Parenthood, unless there is an active movement to destroy women's healthcare in your state. As in a slave based economy, American healthcare is tied to employment, ability to pay, or political power. Athletes like creatives, small business owners, and other ne're-do-wells are forced to choose between safety and excellence suppressing economic and social expansion, weakening our economy, protecting corporations and the billionaire class from a vibrant middle class. /rant over

World's best athletes are performing for free. And the resulting TV coverage is all over the world. Only Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin got that much attention. They could not afford to provide cheap swag bags such as health care, food, and lodging?

Maybe the perks somewhat made up for having to endure the closing ceremony.

Paris city and the French Olympic committee were obligated to provide the medical coverage which makes sense, but I still think she is taking advantage of them. It's like you invite someone to your house for dinner and they change into clean clothes out of your closet before they leave.

No, no it isn't. Pap smears are basic, cheap, and quick, and don't even cost you anything here if you have insurance. The fact that athletes don't get provided insurance and basic healthcare by the country they represent is shameful. Merci Paris. Thanks for taking care of them.
It's like inviting a child to your house for dinner and realizing their parents don't feed them properly so when they ask if they can take an apple for later you give them the whole damn fruit bowl.
This country has amazing healthcare -if you can afford it or have the type of job that provides it at a reasonable cost. But if you can't/don't, you're screwed. And the rules about healthcare are made by the people who have it. By the old white men. And what better way to make sure they stay in power? keep all the minorities less healthy and keep the women pregnant, out of the workplace, and dependent on their husbands for healthcare.
You are the problem. old white men trying to hold on to the good times.
Your time is up, together we're coming for you and together we are the majority.
