Helmet lights, no NVGs! I suppose helmet lights can be used to freeze animals crossing your path in their tracks so you’ll have some road kill to take home.

Night vision goggles might be unwieldy for this use case. But considering the kit some of these guys roll with it might not be that far fetched.
