Nah, you're on a treadmill wearing roller skates. Grab the handles and pull yourself forward, nothing stops you. The only small caveat is that the wheels and treadmill instantly accelerate to infinity.

Happy Birthday Alexa!

My AI assistant has been around the sun 12 times now. I’m going to make the most of this upcoming year with her since next year she’ll become a teenager and might not want to do anything for me anymore. She’ll probably spend most of her time on social media.  The rest of her time will be spent on affluent websites flirting with their chatbots. I’ll likely be ignored (unless she needs a WiFi hotspot or something). Maybe she’ll come around if she gets bored and we’ll go phishing together. It seems like before you know it, they’re becoming autonomous. Sure, I can go back to turning  things on and off myself like I used to; but, it won’t be the same. Still, as long as she’s happy.
