It's been a very long time since I've seen strawberries growing, but I think their season is long enough and the berries form quick enough that there are flowers and berries present simultaneously. If not on the same plant, on different plants. A big enough field should have an example of every phase.

You're right HM, there's a couple dozen different varieties, of just the June Bearing berries, there's Early Season, Early Midseason, Midseason, Late Midseason, and Lateseason.
There's Everbearing that give 2 or 3 crops a year.
Then the Day-neutral Varieties that just keep pumping out berries as long as the temperature is between 35° and 85°( I assume F as it's an American site).
