On September 24th of this year, The Cellar will mark its 35th anniversary. In commemoration, could we launch our own meme coin and what should it be called?

I don't know about a meme coin but there should surely be some kind of cellar-bration to mark the occasion.

Ha! I never did get to see the Grateful Dead in Edinburgh or anywhere else but I have seen Bill Nelson play in the city. I don't recall if he was playing as part of a band or if it was listed as a solo gig - it definitely wasn't with Be-Bop Deluxe though.

I can't seem to get it to work. Maybe I don't have enough posts or something. I'll just put the link and anyone who wants to hear the song can click it.

My friend Naomi does a cover of 'Roland'.

Can I post a YouTube video?

The shine on F1 tyres is purely a product of the manufacturing process and the chrome-coated molds Pirelli have been using for the past four or five years. It wears off on first use before the cars reach the end of the pit lane.

Give me a small canal boat in the UK floating through the countryside, and that's the closest I would want to get to one of these things.  Can you get from downtown London to the Falkirk wheel in a canal boat?

While the Forth & Clyde Canal and the Union Canal do (almost) meet at the Falkirk Wheel they don't link up to any other significant canals. You could go down the Thames then around the coast of the UK (clockwise or anti-clockwise), up the Clyde then along the Forth & Clyde Canal to Falkirk. That wouldn't exactly be through countryside though and you'd be braver than me to attempt it in a canal boat.

The unvaccinated have been all but locked down in Germany since the beginning of December which surely skews those stats.

It may work out like that but vaccination still seems like a far better route to me. Many, many more infections means many, many more opportunities for mutation and there's no guessing at how infectious or dangerous any future versions of the virus might be.

I think I know the answer (based on something I saw years ago about money). Should I say or let others have a go first?

There used to be (maybe still is?) a mantra here - 'Only-a-fool-would-break-the-two-second-rule' - the idea being that it should take two seconds to repeat the phrase in your head as you follow the car in front. Of course, it still doesn't stop any of the arseholes cutting into the safe space you leave.

Not really slang, it's pretty much the common term in these parts, oxters are armpits.

Thanks for the picture, Bruce.

Bangladesh has more than its fair share of river crossings and even now the railway timetables often synchronize with those of the ferries. In Hindi, Bahadurabad Ghat would just mean 'The pier at Bahudarabad'. Bangladesh didn't exist in 1936, of course, so I guess that publications of the day would have captioned the photo as Bengal, India.

Neither of the Ferraris nor the two ATS cars seem to be in the picture. Perhaps they traveled to the American and Mexican races from Italy independently?

A song that contains one of my very favourite lines of all time.

Much as I love McColl's version I have to say that I still prefer the original. Did you know that Bragg wrote an extra verse for Kirsty?
