I shat the bed in all 3 of my leagues this year.  But the cowboys are good, so I still care about football this year.

So what is attention?

You build yourself out of information you've acquired while living your life.  You, being the concept you have of yourself.  Your self.

The self is your ego.

The attention you give it determines the power of has over you.

If you identify strongly with yourself, your who is in charge.

If you understand that the choice of where your attention is focused resides in a level removed from your thinking mind, you can be free from the constant narrative of those thoughts.  You can just be.

It's so easy, and so difficult.

I've got some xoxoxoBruce in me. It came to me through the cellar.  And a couple times in person.  He affected who I am.  I saw doodads and IOTDs.  I read one line replies, and got home made Christmas cards.  I love that guy.

It's Tuesday night.  For years, Dad had his jam in Ron's loft on Tuesday nights, and he would call me on the ride home to tell me how it went.

Then I started going to eclipse and playing out.... Coincidentally also on Tuesday night...

So for the last year and a half, that call would happen on Wednesday or really late Tuesday.  We'd talk about what we played, and who showed up, and how it went...

Tonight I went and played.  It wasn't good or bad, but I went and played and sang.


100% sure he'd want to know I did.

So, I guess that's how you keep your parents alive in you.  You give attention to how you figure they would react to your action.

Would they be proud of you?

I think I'm gonna be there.  Not sure I'll have any new songs to sing....

I have one question.

I still rely on the . org.  I've got a lot of pics and stories on there that I refer to on occasion.

The scam I see is a small one.  Someone is printing NJ Temp tags with numbers that are issued just ahead of the current set.  They must have that formula....  And people go over the bridge in NY and the unlucky person that draws the same number a week later starts getting charged on his ezpass.  Some notice and can get it fixed.  I guess some don't.

Spencer and he are not close... Distance and infrequency of contact... Multiplied by opposing personalities...

My older sister is in the rehab health business, so she's got good advice and questions, younger brother immediately dropped everything and drove down to Charlotte to help this week...

Dad's wife is much younger than he is, and is faced with huge uncertainty about her future....  It'll be a priority for me to reassure her that she is still family when he's gone...
